Platforms are opportunities to exhange information on specific topics between industry peers. We develop with the industry on-line channels (digital media, webinars) and off-line ways (summits, conferences, seminars, courses) to communicate and grow: ‘Building bridges between food professionals’. Next to running specific platforms Bridge2Food is providing research & consultancy, often related to the platforms in which we operate, due to the fact that we work with global experts and leaders and our experience and contacts in the whole value chain, from retail, back to brand, ingredients, processing and raw materials. At Bridge2Food, we run three international platforms, which are conveniently connected to each other.

How do we connect and bridge industries online? We offer open innovation opportunities and facilitate network developments via social media like Linkedin, where Bridge2Food is hosting groups on Food Proteins, Sports & Performance Nutrition, Healthy Ageing, Confectionery, Bakery & Snacks, Coated Foods, Food Technology Professionals and via our own Bridge2Food company group.

Bridge2Food also offers a regular newsletter service on new developments on the Trends, Ingredients foucssing on proteins and Technology platforms that we host and which are close to our heart. Our estimated reach is an average of 25,000 specialists globally.

3 Interconnecting platforms

The Trends platforms on Sports & Performance Nutrition, Healthy Ageing, Healthy & Nutritional Bars focus on consumer, retail, market and category developments in different countries in Europe. Food manufacturers and food protein ingredient and processing companies will find their interests in new developments in health & nutrition and taste & texture also covered at the Ingredient focussing on proteins platforms and the Food Technology platforms.

A wide range of food industry summits, conferences, courses and seminars for senior managers in Europe, the USA, and Asia have and will be organised by Bridge2Food. The objectives of the meetings are to bring the know-how and know-why in particular fast moving food business categories together and to discuss the future challenges and developments from a global, regional and local perspective.

Ingredients Platform

The Ingredient platform has a focus on proteins. A lot of innovation in happening in the protein world: be it on raw materials level via breeding and seed development, processing, "downstream" valorisation, extraction, new sources, nutritionally, textural and also application-wise. And proteins play an important role in fast moving categories like Sports & Performance Nutrition, Healthy Ageing and Healthy & Nutritional Bars & Grain Snacks, which are important connecting dots to the Trends and Food Technology platforms.
