Isabel Boerdam (1990) – Vegetarian key opinion leader in the Netherlands and initiator of the National Week Without Meat. This is a very successful Dutch initiative aimed at reducing the consumption of meat for climate purposes. After 7 years the campaign yearly attracts almost 3 million Dutch citizens and shows long term behavior change. This has been noticed by the European Union, so Isabel and her team will be expanding the campaign to Europe. Germany is on the roadmap for October of this year.
