Adapting quickly in fast-moving consumer categories
The Bridge2Food company was founded in 2002 to provide research & consultancy services in fast-moving consumer categories based on vegetable proteins and innovation. In recent years, international recognition has led to us developing the International Food Business Network (IFBN) and Global Protein Network (GPN) for the food industry as well as in specific food categories, such as healthy & nutritional bars, and conferences and courses on food
for school children, and seminars geared to elderly people.
The bridge between food specialists
We take pride in being the bridge between different food experiences and know-how and in delivering custom-made food solutions with a personal touch. We enjoy creating new international networks between food specialists and improving know-how by organizing platforms, conferences and courses around fast-moving food categories, as well as on food proteins. We also provide boardroom level strategic advice including practical hands-on experience for more tactical
or operational purposes.
Haiti disaster - Soyfoods for Haiti Alliance Being Developed Internationally
In cooperation with various soyfoods-related entities, including the US-based World Soy Foundation, and the Canadian non-profit Malnutrition Matters, Bridge2Food is developing a multi-national SoyFoods Haiti Alliance Relief Effort or “SHARE”.
The overriding principle of this effort is to promote and facilitate the donation and delivery of soy-based foods to Haiti. These should include protein-rich snacks, ready-to-eat foods, beverages and quick-cook products. Eventually, and on a longer-term basis, it could include soybeans, soy protein ingredients and micro-nutrient supplements for value-added processing in Haiti.
A number of major companies have already provided commitments. These include: Alpro NV, Europe’s leading soyfood company, Solae LLC, the world leader in soy-based ingredients, Vitasoy USA Inc., the pioneer of soymilk in America, and WhiteWave Foods, the producer of the leading US soymilk brand “Silk”. Alpro and Solae have committed financial support for the effort, while considering further options, while Vitasoy and WhiteWave are donating aseptic beverages.
