Aidin Milani has been actively involved in the grain and pulses industry for almost 20 years across different regions and markets. Having graduated as a mechanical engineer, his first interaction with the food industry was designing flour mills which was later expanded to rice milling, optical sorting, grain handling, and pulse processing. In recent years, and especially with the advent of novel applications in the field of protein ingredients, he has been working with companies and individuals to add more value to crops and commodities throughout the production cycle. He is actively engaged with the academia and has co-authored several articles in the fields of milling and pulse processing. He is currently the sales and market development manager at Buhler North America focusing on pulses and grains.
