Neeru is a Principal in BCG’s San Francisco office, with over nine years’ experience serving clients in the UK and US across multiple areas including consumer, sustainability, and social impact. Neeru's passion for sustainability shapes her leadership in BCG's efforts on alternative proteins and mitigating the environmental impact of animal agriculture, a topic on which she has spoken at multiple global conferences and webinars including 'The Good Food Conference,' 'Vegan Women's Summit', 'FMI Midwinter Conference' , 'Food Innovation and Investment Summit’ and ‘The Future of Protein Production.’ She has authored three BCG thought leadership publications, read by over 25,000, including 'Taking Alternative Proteins Mainstream.' Neeru’s work has been featured in the Washington Post, World Economic Forum, The Atlantic, CNBC, USA Today, Forbes and others. Neeru is the recipient of the 2024 Consulting Magazine Rising Stars of the Profession award recognizing the industry's most impactful changemakers. She was also one of 11 consultants globally selected for BCG’s 2023 marketing campaign showcasing BCG’s most impactful work, and her YouTube video sharing research insights has amassed over 30,000 views.
