"Sarah Frick is Cargill’s Managing Director for Plant-Based Meat Alternatives. She leads a team determined to deliver great-tasting alternative proteins that meet consumers’ ever-evolving demands, now and for the future. Sarah is known to take on challenges and roles with opportunities to reimagine the future of food. She enjoys working in a fast-paced, ever-changing business sector using insights to understand consumer needs and innovation to solve challenges for customers. Sarah began her career with Cargill in 2011 and has held roles in marketing across the company’s protein business with expertise in managing brands and leading protein innovation. She led marketing for Cargill’s protein growth ventures team and, prior to her current role, was the Commercial Marketing Leader for Global Alternative Protein where she focused on the development of marketing strategies and, in partnership with the business management teams, develops, and leads the go-to-market approach. Under Sarah’s marketing leadership, the global alternative protein team launched over 103 SKUs across 11 product types to 22 customers. Sarah is actively engaged in supporting her children’s schools, local high school DECA members, and serving as a mentor to others. She earned a marketing degree from Wichita State University. Besides spending time with her two children, she loves painting, biking and traveling. "
