Divek Nair is a Lead Scientist in Food Protection (Microbiology), exploring novel natural antimicrobial solutions for customer applications. Dr. Nair received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from India and an MS in Poultry Science (with Food Science and Technology as a minor) from Mississippi State University. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota with expertise in foodborne pathogen control, interventional microbiology, and microbiomics. In his current role, he leads customer application projects, conducts exploratory research to discover novel antimicrobial agents, and provides customer consultation.
