
Helga Angelina Tjahjadi is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder of Green Rebel — Asia’s leading alt-protein brand that offers whole-cut, plant-based meat alternatives for the consumer in search of a healthier flexitarian diet. A champion of a plant-centric, flexitarian diet, Indonesia-born Helga spearheads Green Rebel’s growth and expansion within Indonesia and beyond, working with dynamic teams in markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and more. Helga and her husband Max also launched Burgreens in 2013, offering localised, meatless dishes familiar to the Indonesian palate. Today, Burgreens is Indonesia’s largest vegan restaurant chain. Helga graduated from Arnhem Business School in the Netherlands and is currently learning nutrition at Stanford Medicine. Helga is recognised for her stellar work in raising awareness for social impact enterprises. She clinched several accolades in 2017: Indonesia’s Great Women’s Award, Women of the Year by Her World, and Best ESG Awards by ESG Awards in Singapore. She was also named in the 30 Under 30: The Arts List by Forbes Asia in 2016.
