Vaida studied MSc of Dairy science and Technology in Wageningen University followed by PhD study aiming to understand dairy protein exchangeability by plant proteins in semi-solid model samples. Following, joined Danone Nutrition R&D as protein scientist to investigate benefits of dairy and plant proteins for specialized nutrition. Driven by her passion for sustainability and alternative protein application in plant-based foods, in 2020 Vaida joined Upfield as sr. plant protein expert. In her role Vaida investigates alternatives proteins and new technologies for dairy-like alternatives.
