There is also an entrepreneurial edge as a founding member in 3 start-ups. With Corbion he is working on expanding his knowledge and understanding of the natural microflora of plant-based ingredients, and best practices for microbial control. There is a need for continued research on pathogen risks and shelf-life improvements in this industry.
