Delicious Foods Track (Track II) Chair

I have 19 years of experience in the food industry. I have been working in Danone Nutricia Research since September 2010 as a Global Specifications Manager : 6 years in the Medical Division and 4 years in Early Life Nutrition in The Netherlands. Responsible for the approval of ingredients used for liquid and powder products. Ensure that ingredients comply with the requirements for Product Development, Operations and Quality Food Safety. Our mission is to : Bringing health through food to as many people as possible.Furthermore, I have experience acquired in the food industry, including six years in Spain in a meat company, Productos Florida, and in a flour company , Harinera del Levante , with an extensive understanding of quality assurance, quality control and Health and Safety. Passionate to improve quality and Food safety of ingredients.

The Aims of the Delicious Foods Track are to create shared visions on:

1. How relevant for developing new foods are themes like Affordability, Healthy Diets & Nutrition, Delicious Foods, and Sustainability?

2. How does the world of novel food ingredients look like? What can we expect in the coming years?

3. Which key new categories will emerge and how can the value chain tap into these opportunities?

4. Which new EcoSystems can contribute? 5. What is the agenda of the Global Plant-Based Foods & Proteins EcoSystem? How can you tap into these EcoSystems?


"This presentation will focus on:

- Quality and food safety requirements of the ingredients that can be used in the specialized nutrition industry and challenges with the suppliers in our process

- Sustainability

• Danone Impact journey commitments, such as Progressive Decarbonization, Water footprint reduction, and Packaging transformation.

• Scope of regenerative agriculture in SN and Dairy division.

• Video of “ Dual project” within Danone.

- Plant-based products that Danone Nutricia has launched: Fortimel PB, Best of both worlds. The rationale of the formulation will be discussed. "
