Marc is the Barcelona-born Food Activist, CEO and Co-founder of Heura. In 2017 he created the food tech startup as a vehicle for positive change, dedicating his livelihood to creating sustainable solutions for the food tech industry and making livestock obsolete. Originally launching in Spain, where the 100% plant-based food tech startup is now market leader, Marc has since expanded his vision to build a net-positive food system while accelerating the plant-based protein transition across Europe, growing the sector in the UK, France, Italy and DACH. Marc’s efforts have been recognized by prestigious organizations, such as Forbes, who named him one of the “100 most creative people in business”. He is also a TEDx speaker and was listed as one of the people leading the future of the food industry in 50Next, the list made by 50Best.
