Wanrui is currently leading the research function in THIS, he has a PhD in materials science and worked in various industries including chemical, food & beverage. He has a strong passion to drive innovation & commercialisation, and is keen to work with all experts in the plant based field to deliver ambition from THIS - forcing animals to early retirement.

A common challenge for product development is balancing act between multiple attributes. Generally speaking the "magical ingredient" solving all problem doesn't exist, usually it highly rely on researcher's skills/experiences. Here we'd like to share our experience of using DoE and statistical analysis to achieve optimal rheology and deliver best performance. We hope we can inspire/spark other thoughts so we can deliver a quicker & better research together.
